Mod-capta is a camera-based hand-tracking modulator that turns pinch gestures into modulation. The distance between your thumb and each fingertip becomes a continuous control signal, with index through pinky mapped to four sources, P1 to P4. Pinch closed for maximum, spread apart for zero, or invert the response per instance. All tracking runs in real time on your machine: no internet connection, and no video ever leaves your computer. Four parallel banks provide 16 mapping slots in total, and range sliders with per-slot step quantization make assignment and scaling fast and flexible. Multiple instances share a single camera: track left and right hands separately, or drive several devices from one hand. No wires, no controller. Your hand is the instrument.
